Initial designs prioritized full off-grid functionality, but early on, developers realized they needed a system that could adapt—one that could toggle between autonomous operation and utility support without interrupting homeowners. Sol-Ark® delivered exactly that.
The Sol-Ark® 15K-2P hybrid inverter offered the performance and reliability needed to turn vision into reality. With a design built for resilience, scalability, and simplicity, the solar energy storage system became the backbone of a hybrid residential microgrid, capable of operating independently for 12 months of the year while remaining grid-connected by choice, not necessity.

IMPLEMENTATION & INTEGRATION
For Master Plan Homes and Canopy Solar, this project was more than new territory. it was a first. Sol-Ark’s engineering team worked hands-on with the builders and installers throughout the process, from concept refinement to final commissioning.
Together, the teams developed a system architecture that balanced elegance with electrical resilience. The 15K-2P hybrid capability and intuitive interface made installation straightforward, even for crews new to solar.

Sol-Ark’s hybrid inverters were critical in achieving the community’s unique power architecture. The 600A double-throw switch allowed system-wide updates without disrupting homeowners. The transformer enabled smooth energy exchange with the local grid. And Sol-Ark’s smart interface allowed easy control and monitoring. No steep learning curve required!
