MYSOLARK V1 & V2 APP TRANSITION FAQs
WHEN WILL THE MYSOLARK V1 APP NO LONGER BE SUPPORTED?
- iOS support ends April 28
- Android support ends May 31
- The MySolArk V1 app will still function and remain available for download; however, no further updates, bug fixes, or support will be provided.
WILL THE MYSOLARK V1 STOP FUNCTIONING?
- No. The app remains available for download and use, though no further updates or bug fixes will be provided. Extended support is limited, but the Sol-Ark team will continue to assist if needed.
WHAT APPS ARE REPLACING THE MYSOLARK V1 APP?
- MySolArk V2 App available April 14 (for residential system owners)
- MySolArk Installer App available May/June 2026. (for residential installers).
WILL MYSOLARK V2 SUPPORT TABLETS?
- Yes. The V2 app will support both iOS and Android tablets.
WILL MYSOLARK V2 SUPPORT WIFI & ETHERNET?
- Yes. It will support both.
WHICH APP SHOULD RESIDENTIAL INSTALLERS USE NOW?
- Please continue to use the MySolArk V1 App until the new MySolArk Installer App is released
- After the MySolArk Installer App is released, residential installers can then transition.
- The MySolArk V2 App is for the residential system owner (homeowner) to monitor and customize their energy system.
CAN RESIDENTIAL INSTALLERS USE THE MYSOLARK V2 APP?
- No. Installers should continue using the MySolArk V1 app until the Installer App is released.
- Functions such as fleet management, plant transfer, plant sharing, and Wi-Fi configuration are NOT currently available in the MySolArk V2 App.
- Reports for SGIP and LUMA compliance are NOT available in the MySolArk V2 App.
WHAT SHOULD RESIDENTIAL SYSTEM OWNERS (HOMEOWNERS) USE NOW?
- Download the MySolArk V2 App
- Residential system owners, or the homeowner, should begin using the MySolArk V2 application to monitor their home or location energy use.
WHAT SHOULD C&I SYSTEM OWNERS DO?
- Continue using the MySolArk V1 app until C&I monitoring is available in the MySolArk V2 app.
WILL PUSH NOTIFICATIONS WORK DIFFERENTLY WITH MYSOLARK V2?
- All prior notifications are available with the MYSOLARK V2 app, plus more in the future.
WILL HISTORICAL PRODUCTION & CONSUMPTION DATA BE PRESERVED?
- Yes. All existing plant data will be viewable with all apps.
WILL MYSOLARK V2 SUPPORT MULTIPLE LANGUAGES?
- Yes. English and Spanish are supported with more to come.
WHAT ABOUT THE MYSOLARK WEB APP & LOGIN?
- Yes. The MySolArk web login and portal will remain accessible and supported
- Your login credentials will remain the same.

WILL THE MYSOLARK PLATFORM DATA SYNC?
- Yes. It will.
- The MySolArk Web Application, the MySolArk V1 App, and the MySolArk V2 App will data sync.
CAN C&I INSTALLERS USE THE MYSOLARK V2 APP?
- No. Please continue to use the MySolArk V1 App until C&I commissioning functionality is available with the MySolArk Installer app.

- Not presently supported by the MySolArk V2 app
